The Loadin Maps module uses the Bing Maps AJAX Control 7.0 to display static and interactive maps powered by Bing Maps on your Orchard Web Site.
Before you begin using the module, you need to create a developer account on the Bing Maps Account Center. A Bing Maps Developer Account allows you to create a Bing Maps Key to use in your map application. Getting a key is described in Getting a Bing Maps Key.

  1. Installing Loadin Maps for Orchard using the Orchard Modules installer.
(instructions to install Loadin Maps module using the built in Orchard Modules installer)
  2. Acquire and Define Bing Maps Developer Key
(instructions to acquire a Bing Maps Developer Key and use it for the Loadin Maps module)
  3. Use the Loadin Maps module as a Widget.
(instructions to use the module as a widget on Default Layer, inside Content Zone)
  4. Using Bing Maps page with Advanced Menu module.
(follow these instructions to have your bing maps page communicate with advanced menu module)
